Problems in winter charging mode

For RC Models

Q1 – Do the light bulbs (LEDs) on the Power Box show the expected colors? Indicators 1 and 2 should be lit (2014-2017 models).

If Yes – Proceed to Q2.

If No – See article, “The Power Box is not operating or seems to be dead”.

Q2 – Connect a winter charging to the robot’s charging plug. Wait 1 minute and check the robot’s screen. Make sure the System Switch is On. Does the screen show the day icon + battery icon?

If Yes – Proceed to Q3.

If No – See article, “Robomow stops with no message or does not wake up”.

Q3 – Disconnect the winter charging from the robot’s charging plug. Wait a few seconds and then check the robot screen. Does the screen show the time and the day?

If Yes – This is the expected behavior and icons to show. Let the robot continue charging and if the problem happens again, call the Robomow Hotline.

If No – Call Robomow Hotline for further analysis.

For RS Models

Q2 – Remove the charging adapter from the robot’s charging contacts. Wait a few seconds and check the robot screen. Does the screen show Zone Main or Zone A?

If Yes – Proceed to Q3.

If No – See article, “Robomow stops with no message or does not wake up”.

Q3 – Connect the charging adapter back to the robot’s charging contacts. Wait 1 minute and check the robot screen. Make sure the Safety Switch is On. Does the screen show Power Plug icon + Charging sign, or Power Plug icon + “READY”?

If Yes – This is the expected behavior and icons to show. Let the robot continue charging and if the problem happens again, call the Robomow Hotline.

If No – Call Robomow Hotline for further analysis.
