How should I install the perimeter wire along a wall or high obstacle?

For RC Models

If the edge is sloped (a maximum of 10% is allowed), or is bordered with high obstacles such as a wall or fence, the Perimeter Wire should be laid at a distance of 11in (28cm) from the obstacle. Use the longer distance of the RoboRuler to set the distance of the wire from a wall.

For RS Models

If the edge is sloped (a maximum of 15% is allowed), or is bordered with high obstacles such as a wall or fence, the Perimeter Wire should be laid at a distance of 1.3ft (40cm) from the obstacle. Use the longer distance of the RoboRuler to set the distance of the wire from a wall.

For RX Models

When the edge is a wall, prefer to set the Perimeter Wire at a distance III (36cm) of the RoboRuler to minimize uncut areas:

If the mower bumps in a rigid lawn’s border too frequently, move the Perimeter Wire to be at a distance IV (45cm) of the RoboRuler.
